In the large east gallery, the January Invitational Exhibition, participating Saranac
members invited artists to exhibit at the Gallery.
In the small west gallery our new member, Marguerite Finch, will display recent work.
BIO: Marguerite Finch is a Fine Art Instructor and interdisciplinary
sculpture/performance artist. She received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of
Wisconsin - Eau Claire (2016) and her MFA from Washington State University (2018).
She currently teaches sculpture and art appreciation in the greater Columbia Basin
area.
ARTIST STATEMENT: Marguerite Finch’s work explores her experiences growing up on
a Wisconsin farm and confronting the inequities of modern agriculture. The work in this
show is inspired by her relationship with her parents and conversations about loss, land,
and legacy.
