We are all Connected

My Art practice is presenting a visual language offering meaning in what I view as the cyclical realignment and compression of dislocations from several years in isolation that has been encouraged by hate and fear rhetoric within our media. I am creating an imbalance amongst the visual references while a tension is presented through a photorealistic drawn narrative that is physically altered.  The process of drawing on plaster speaks to the fragility, strength and metamorphosis of our humanness within its physical limitations. I am visually connecting us and seeing the external differences as a connection versus seeing them as imperfections.
